On my way to work this morning, I saw a fat squirrel running on the footpath in front of me. It was such a tubster (possibly pregnant), that it was not as nimble as others I have seen. It then made a very odd choice for a chubby squirrel. Rather than run up the grassy hills to where it wanted to go, it decided to run up the concrete stairs. This amused me greatly, so I stopped to watch for a moment. Once it got to about halfway up the flight of stairs it jumped onto the grass and wobbled towards the trees. For some reason I heard alarm bells ringing danger for my fuzzy friend. I looked at the other side of the stairs, and in the long grass, I saw a pair of green eyes. A black cat had also been watching the squirrel, and had apparently decided my friend's name was 2nd breakfast. As I saw kitty's ass a twitching in the grass, I decided to clap my hands, stamp my feet and yell out "run squirrel pants". I then apologised to the cat, reasoning with myself that I did not need to see squirrel torture on my way to work, so I did it for good. Mostly mine I suppose. I mean seeing that before breakfast, is not a good way to start the day.

Another blog app - another test
Dave made a steampunk snowman, using old broken clock parts. He died fairly quickly as Mr Sun executed him in the morning.
We were on poor week. Just a few quid left and payday was approaching. Dave found these slightly battered carnations in Tescos for much cheapness. They brightened up the day before payday no end.

New Blog App Test - Birthday

My birthday beer. I love how my Hoegaarden glass turns a regular bottle of beer into something tastier and somehow more grand.

My friend Maria bought me these tins for my birthday. I spent a whole afternoon reorganising my bathroom storage to make best use of these. Not only are they lovely, they are practical too :)
